S0 Fitness began with a simple observation — most fitness spaces weren't designed with women in mind. They lacked the privacy, the expertise, and the empathy that women deserved when stepping into a gym for the first time.

What started as a small studio in Chennai grew quietly, shaped by the women who walked through our doors. Each story — postpartum recovery, PCOS management, strength after forty — refined our approach.

Today, that same conviction guides every class, every diet chart, and every conversation across our branches.

The Brand

About S0 Fitness

S0 FITNESS STUDIO was co-founded by Veronica Swarnamukhi Kona, an internationally acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancer, and her daughter Dr. Olivia Hephzibah, a gynaecologist and fitness expert brought together by a shared vision to redefine women’s fitness.

Swarnamukhi, known for mastering the 108 Karanas and representing India across 50+ countries, has spent decades understanding the body through movement, discipline, and classical art. Her global exposure and deep-rooted knowledge of body alignment and expression bring a unique, holistic perspective to fitness.

Dr. Olivia began her fitness journey at 16 and went on to become a qualified gynaecologist, combining medical science with modern training methods. Her expertise in women’s health led to the creation of specialized, medically guided fitness programs, including the award-winning HIT transformation program focused on sustainable fat loss, hormonal balance, and long-term wellness.

Together, they founded SO FITNESS STUDIO to create a safe, women-centric space where fitness is not just about appearance, but about strength, confidence, and complete wellbeing.
